RadioA1A does things a little differently by focusing exclusively on the voices and creativity of independent Tropical Americana singer-songwriters. While we cannot physically attend every live event, house concert, or music festival across the Tropical Americana community, we proudly help support and promote them year-round through our DJs, show hosts, social media channels, and on-air programming. Our mission is to give independent artists a meaningful platform where their original music can be discovered by listeners around the world, while helping fans stay connected to the vibrant culture and events that make this musical genre so unique.
New music is the lifeblood of RadioA1A. Our inbox at
submissions@a1a.productions is continually filled with fresh, original songs from talented independent artists, many of which find a home in our 100% independent singer-songwriter format that streams 24/7. Listeners can tune in through the RadioA1A smartphone apps, Alexa devices, Roku, or at RadioA1A.com, home of the official Trop40 Chart and Poll. Special recognition goes to our live personalities who help bring the community together every week, including Lyle Wilson, host of Weekdays with Wilson for more than a decade at 8:30 AM Eastern each weekday, and Jersey Jon Parsons, whose popular Buffett on the Radio airs every Friday at 5:00 PM Eastern, keeping the spirit of Tropical Americana alive and thriving.
